Happy Spring! It’s late, but it finally arrived. I’m very happy about it too.

Tonight I am relaxing on the couch while surfing the internet on spirituality topics when I come across a website called Spiritual Gifts Test. Curious, I answered all the questions honestly and it showed me my top three results.

The Almighty Father has given each and every one of us a spiritual gift which he wants us to use for his glory.

Wikipedia states the following: In Christianity, spiritual gifts (or charismata) are endowments which may be given by the Holy Spirit. These are the supernatural graces which individual Christians need (or did in the days of the Apostles need) to fulfill the mission of the church. They are described in the New Testament, primarily in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4. 1 Peter 4 also touches on the spiritual gifts.

The website allowed me to download a PDF version to share with you! Yaay! Take the test to find out what your Spiritual Gifts are. To learn more about your answers, I’ve included a link to that portion of their website.

Tips on the questions: the questions are geared towards ministry and church, but it also means outside the church.  “Ministry” is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning “to serve”.  Soooooo……think about your daily life in how you serve the Almighty Father inside and outside the church.

Are you wondering what my results were? It was surprisingly accurate. Mercy or empathy is my strong suit. If I had developed my empathic gift instead of squashing it to a pulp, I’d be in a much stronger space and position to help others. Instead of a blazing flame, it’s more of a small ember. This also explains the drive I had to start this blog. The good news is that I have time to strengthen my gift to better serve the Lord.
